AIOC Solder Guide - 3D Printed Assembly Tool

Building an AIOC? This little 3D printed solder guide helps keep things lined up while you do the tiny hot-metal dance.

The AIOC can be built without this guide. You can absolutely use your radio as the alignment guide if you’re feeling brave, steady-handed, and willing to let your radio participate in arts and crafts. This tool is for the rest of us who prefer a little less chaos on the bench.

The guide is designed to help position the parts during assembly so the finished AIOC has a better chance of fitting cleanly where it belongs.

Current batch color

This is a shop/bench tool, so color really does not matter much. It may spend most of its life in a drawer, on the workbench, or hiding under a pile of jumper wires judging your solder joints.

To keep these affordable and available, I print them in small batches. You get the color that is currently printed and in stock. Right now, that color is bright green.

Custom Color?

The custom-color arrangement includes one printed AIOC case. I keep the remaining filament to cover the custom setup, print time, failed-print risk, and general 3D printer nonsense.
